♥ Father’s Day 2010 ♥
♥ For every tickle, every giggle, every second cup of tea. For every cuddle, every bear hug, every tender kiss you gave to me.
♥ For all our talks that extended late into the night, for teaching me by example that true love surrenders the will to fight.
♥ For the love & adoration you gave the woman who gave her body to support my growing life. For showing by example the love, respect and honor due a great mans wife.
♥ For the patience I was taught by the strength of your gentle soul, harsh words were never needed, the anger was controlled.
♥ For every answer ever given and never tiring of all my “why’s”, for responding like a hero to all my whims and cries.
♥ For being the King of hearts among all the men across the land, and for setting the standard for the prince who would receive your princess’ hand.
♥ For every smile, every cheer, every kind word ever spoken, For every promise that you honored, every play date never broken.
♥ All the silly bumps and bruises I received along the way, You’d scoop me up in your arms and the pain would go away,
♥ For the times you let me fall, and protected moments too, You were always available to help me see my way on through.
♥ Never pushing me any further than you knew that I could go, never letting me give up when I refused and would scream no.
♥ For growing me into the woman who stands before you today, On this day I honor you and this is what I’ll say;
♥ You always stood behind me every step along the way, So today as well as every day is the greatest Father’s Day…
♥ Thank you for being the very best Daddy any girl could get, The best husband and provider but here’s the best part yet….
♥ The strength and safety your shoulders and arms always gave to me, For the stars and stage we danced around with me upon your feet.
♥ The way that I can always look into your eyes and see a princess reflected there, story times, and nursery rhymes and tender loving care,
♥ The first Man of my dreams, you will always be, making it possible for everyone to see, By the way that you raised me it is obvious and clear;
♥ The man who now has my heart knows he has to share, for the king of hearts who made my heart has a permanent home in there.
