As an author, I have written and published two books. A Y2K Survival book in 1999, that was a major learning experience for me. I wrote the book at the request and prompting of others, and knowing it didn’t resonate with who I am, and what I believe to be true. The process I went through, and the journey I went on writing and publishing that book, created the pathway to writing only what speaks with conviction to my core, my values, and what is in alignment with my soul purpose.
I also wrote and published a scrapbookers dream book titled “Tender Heart Kreations.” THK is Chock-A-Block full of more than 150 original inspirational quotes, poems, & quips. This one was a delight for me to write. It spoke through my heart and straight through the eyes of my children and parents everywhere. Distributed in 32 states, and making a comeback, look for it to re-appear better than before.
I am currently playing with and writing several book projects ranging from Women’s Empowerment, Men’s Empowerment, Relationships, and Children’s inspirational books. All of my creations and writing is lightly seasoned with joy, love, inspiration, humor and truth,. When I get to sit and put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) There is a fire that is ignited so deep in my core, my emotions are stirred into action and I could write infinitely.
I am also a freelance writer and enjoy this venue as it allows the diversity in my writing to flow freely without restrictions or inhibitions. It allows me the freedom to express my creativity and touch on a wide range of topics, emotions, issues and controversial challenges that face the majority of the hearts I interact with on a daily basis.
I have a monthly column under my pen name called, “Dear Ms. Write.” I am very interested in delving into and supporting you in unearthing the truths to the topics and questions that are most important to you. Ms. Write is about scraping off the top layer of superficiality and getting to the core of you. The truth behind the mask, behind the curtain. The you who lives in fear of vulnerability, surrender, emotions and feelings. The you who becomes alive with purpose, fueled with passion, and empowered through the truth. Your personal truth. Whatever that may be.
